No need to blank off any pipe on the water pump.

i like the relocation of the water bottle and battery... think il have a bit a that!!
battery is in standard position for the van mate, probs best off leaving it passenger side for weight distribution. Header tank can go the other side as per coupe setup :)
No pipe off top of water bottle?
Nope, not needed :) PMT bolt in there instead :D

ktype thermocouple i think, measuring inlet charge temps
Yeah its an Ian S charge temp gauge :)
gonna do this at some point then looks better!
What's the job of the swirl pot anyway?
Is it something to do with removing air from the coolant?
any more pics of tidy bays please or any close ups of when the header tank is moved to the other side?
really like the idea of de cluttering
A little bit different to Brigsy's and still have the swirl pot But no turbo/carb/inlet manifold pipes.

Yep i'm pretty sure its there to stop air building up in the cooling system, once you've initially 'blown' the air out of the system to start with.

makes quite a difference, good pic
Less = more in the 5 engine bay :D
After asking about this i never removed the swirl pot, i relocated the headertank to scuttle, wanna remove the swirl pot now though, what pipes go to where ? any pics? Cheers
