Gtt fuel tank

Recently bought my 5 which appears to have a fuel leak from the tank when filled above 1/4 full, it looks to have had some repair works before so I'd rather just replace the tank.

99% of time its the bung on the side of the tank, if you get the tank out it can be repaired. the yellow bung inside cracks. either buy a load of araldite and fill it(which is what we did to Big Steves the night before blyton park) or get it plastic welded. i welded mine personally.(with an electric soldering iron. dont use a gas one :devil:)

I have a tank recently taken off a car if needed was only taken off few days ago, its leak free too.

Tiger seal and a pallet knife;)

Tiger seal is petrol resistant and using the old pallet knife the tank can stay where it is, did mine two years ago and it's been leak free ever since;)
