popping and bang on full throttle?

im getting popping and banging from the five?

im only running 14psi

if i hit the throttle in 1st it starts to go then bang (from the exhaust) then clears then into 2nd gear bang bang clears and pulls perfect through the rest of the gears.

really annoying. im guessing its over fueling?

idles at 14.2 on boost at 11.3 ?

Id say its more likely at timing issue then.

What condition are your HT leads and spark plugs in?

Dizzy cap in good nick?

Rotor arm not warn?

your 14psi, have you disconnected the overboost switch in the boost pipe?

I had my over boost connected once and got this..

Off not I dunno, been in a 5 for years so losing my edge.. There was a time I could remove my engine and refit it using only a semi hardon, these days I'll need hydraulic equipment.

take the dizzy cap off and give it a clean, mine was popping and banging years ago, cleaned the dizzy and problem solved

Are there 2 wires connected to a sensor on the boost from the turbo to intercooler?

Blowing the spark out. Regap the plugs.

Someone here will tell you the gap, I run my 21 at .55mm but I bet thats too small for a GTT.

Sounds like the overboost switch us kicking in. Is it chuffing loads of black smoke when it happens?
