Just for the lump, nothing else. Could get one for 250 quid... Don't know if that's a rip off?

F7r go for 250+ dependant on mileage age condition etc...

Is it a williams F7R lump or a megane F7R lump?

The Williams lumps go for silly money now, 300quid for a bad one.

Megane job has bigger valves and smaller inlet ports but the cams are low lift and long duration, they fetch anywherre from 200 to 450.

You can have my f7R lump for £150 I've had it in the garage a while and could do with the space. It's complete.

I sold my 88k williams engine back in march for 400 quid which was the block, head, wiring loom, ecu, starter motor, alternator, flywheel and uprated valeo clutch and inlet manifold.

Make sure the engine comes with the loom and ecu as they can be a right pain to match and williams ecu's can go for roughly 80-100 quid depending who selling it

Seems expensive for an old worn out engine?
IMO this would tip the balance I favour of a 172 engine.
