After thinking I had made a really good job of replacing the faded dial/clock faces with them out of the shop,I now wish I hadn't of botherd.the problem is my rev counter dosent work as it should,it only goes to 3k and drops very slowly.tried various things but I think its time to give up on it unless anyone can suggest something. If I have to get a spare set of clocks will I be able to just replace the rev counter workings.thanks for any input.

Your rev counter is stucked. You pushed the needle on too deep. Just take a fork and lift the needle just a little bit till it goes smoothly.

you got the speedo needle mixed with the rev counter needle? as they have different wieghts in the needle.

I'm almost certain the right needle is on the right clock cos I kept them separate but you never no so wont rule it out.thanks
