As per title, i'm after a braided oil feed with a t piece for aftermarket oil pressure gauge. Anyone knows where can i find one? Searched the bay with no success.

This might be of use: http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=29925
I just drilled and tapped into my sandwitch plate, works a treat.
I'm after some braided feed too. Managed to find this:
http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=40&appid=16
but still can't use a t piece on that as the length is fixed and dont think i can actually cut the braided hose in half :P
How did you drill the sandwitchplate and may i ask is it the one where the oil feed pipe begins from?

I drilled the oe sandwitch plate which sits between the block and the oil filter and has the oil cooler hoses attached.
Looks like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-5-GT-TURBO-ORIGINAL-STANDARD-OIL-COOLER-SANDWICH-PLATE-/180833352743?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a1a81fc27
I just took it off and drilled it in a pillar drill, then tapped it to the correct thread for the sensor.
OK one more question. Can i use the OE pressure sensor? Not sure if it's working though, warning oil light works, the oe gauge doesn't. I found a nice innovate oil pressure gauge , but they sell the sensor seperately which is more expensve than the gauge, like 90euros! I know sensors are expensive generally, but fook me,70 euros costs the bosch wideband sensor, it seems over the top to pay 90 euros (plus postage) for a pressure sensor:confused::confused:!

Someone may correct me on this, but i don't reckon the OE oil pressure sensor will work on anything other than the OE gauge. You could always remove it and fit a mechanical gauge, which would be your cheapest option. As for your oil warning light; this is wirred up to a oil level sensor in the sump and will not be effected by your oil pressure gauge.
Standard oil pressure sensor wont work with aftermarket gauges. Just tee in between the banjo fitting/turbo oil feed the threaded adaptors are easier to find.

And it just so happens I have one I'm selling.
Useful info ty fellas. So i'll get an aftermarket one. Last question. A universal pressure sensor will be able to work with most aftermarket pressure gauges? For example the innovate gauge i found will work with an universal sensor? I'm asking cause i found a uviversal sensor with 50 euros, while the innovate one costs 110 bucks :eek:
Just rebuilt my t25 turbo mate :P not intersted in whole turbocharger :p
