Hi Guys & Girls,
Are any of you interested in helping the Committee by running the Facebook page??
Blunty started to do this for us & was doing a great job but has now sadly departed from the RTOC and set up his own splinter group :(
It's just a matter of uploading news, events, announcements and also trying to attract new memeber to the club with various Facebook thingy's?! My-god, i'm turning into my Father?! :eek:
Please let me know if you're interested?

You probably already know this Steve but whilst you are searching out a new person to run the page, you can schedule posts on Facebook so that you do not have to post in real time.
It is quite handy so that you can for example plan a week/months etc worth of posts ahead of time and let it do it's thing.

I would but I don't have a pc or the means the mrs says I would just watch porn all night :) I only use my iPhone.. Unless the club wants to buy me an iPad ;) all donations would be greatly received

I dont kno alot about face book but im on it most days. Can you have more than one person to admin it? Ill give it a go if you like. Give me a list of whats needed?

He's dropped the RTOC because he got p1ssed off and is having nothing more to do with us. As I said he's now set up his Facebook R5GTT Group.
He was also running the RTOC Group for a while & the recent picture updates was thanks to him.

I don't mind committing to the club been a member for a while heart is strong for RenaultS work away alot but access to net is not an issue :)

Yep, I totally :agree:on both points :(
We need to put that thread & the whole sorry story behind the club & move forwards, after all we have 2013 to look forwards to! ;)

TBH I dont know anybody who is sure why he left....
He apparently had some issues with some members on here, he was chatting to me about it on fb.

He didn't talk about it in his resignation post. Asked for his RTOC membership to be cancelled, not just leave the committee.

Genuine question:)
I suppose Facebook is a little more personal, my rtoc profile only really has pictures of cars and a few fish:scratch:
where as Facebook is loaded with pics of my family and indeed myself, so you perhaps get a better idea of who you are talking to than you do on rtoc. So for things like national day ect you will at least know what everyone looks like!:laugh:
Of course that is if your friends with people on Facebook or they have no privacy settings on.
