connector of doom and gloom

Had a coolant spillage on the box of gloom and now with ignition on IV only got the battery warning light and handbrake light on.is it the box or do I need to look elsewhere. Thanks

Give it a good clean with some electrical contact cleaner and a toothbrush. This should cure your problem, unless they contain heavily corroded terminals :agree:

Just tried this and still the same,think I need a fresh box of doom.

Try scraping the terminals with a screwdriver or something abrasive then repeating the electrical cleaner, worth a try :)

I tried cleaning the contacts up with some wet n dry.no look,will have another go tomorrow when IV got more time.
