Can't ever see that coming in, it would affect pretty much 90% of cars on the road now as i can guarrenty most aren't exactly how they come from the factory

I agree it would be hard to regulate too as something like a chip on a diesel car can easily be taken off for an MOT then put back on after :/

i can see something along these lines eventually. Manufacturers spend millions making cars safe in a crash and or pedestrians crash, lowering cars affects these designs quite alot. adding a huge wing on the back of a hatchback or strut braces under the bonnet where a pedestrians head would hit.

If you read the legislation properly, it's more around type approval.

Anyway, it's not even draft yet, so ignore all the hype. It's bull****.
