revs?

Could this problem be related to my alternator been fooked. I'm getting full boost about 12psi,t2 standard engine but it wont rev past 4k,haven't pushed it as it gets lean.would the dials be working correctly with a poorley alternator.

how do you know its getting lean?

Had an afr gauge on it.it seems to hit Max boost about 3.5k ish and then just go flat like it dosent want to rev anymore.

its your carb.

u need to check that the enricher circuit breather isnt connected to anything.

Is that the thin one to the right hand side of the carb?if so that runs down and is not connected.just noticed that there's no clip on the pipe that goes into the telephone hose junction,the piece it fits on to will pull out of the telephone hose with ease,at the other end where the t piece is there's no clips on either one and pull off easily.I no there breather pipes so possibly don't need clips on?
