laggy 5 with t25

Hi i recently purchased a car with a turbo technics t25 running 18psi it has a double cap intercooler tubular manifoldlarge down pipe straight through exhaust and a pipercross viper induction kit.

My problem/query is how laggy should it be i have nothing before 3k then it starts to build. which from memory of my old one seems late.

Is there anything to check or what's the best way to aid spool up?

Sounds about right to me.

You can buy a turbo blanket which will help turbo spool faster and pipercross viper is very restrictive

Oh ok that is cool then. its a different car to my old one but if this does not seem odd then i smart happy.
