Having A Senior Moment!!

I started stripping my 5 today in preperation for its respray :)

But I am having brain failure on two things.....

The first is illustrated in the pic below.

How do you get the part above the light cluster off?? I have undone the bolt at the bottom but it wont budge. I have removed these about 9 years ago but cant recall how.....:sad2:

Also how do you remove the rain guttering rails without breaking them- as mine seem superglued on!!!lol.

And on another note- I removed my spoiler for the first ever time today. Are the clips in the pic below supposed to be still attached to the spoiler???

Gutter rails should just pull off unless a previous owner has glued them.

I think, cant remember exactly, but there may be a fixing inside for the upper cluster trim.

My spoiler did the same thing so don't worry. I expect the clips should stay on but after 20 odd years they just come off.

trim should pull out slightly and then down...use side to side motion,re-glue spoiler clips into spoiler.....,superglued rail...cant see the glue being that long lasting.the rails arent too expensive(last time i got them!):)

Ignore that. Upper cluster trim is only held with the one bolt. Just got off my arse and went to check. Try pulling it downwards.

Am just super paranoid about breaking anything - especially as replacement new parts from renault seem to cost an arm and a leg lately!!

Ill have a go at getiing these parts off in the week :cool:
