For sale is a genuine renault 5 gt turbo ex coupe cup race car. This car was raced between 1986 and 1987 and is still in phase 1 trim (extremely rare as after the series most phase 1's were broken or converted back to road cars) I purchased the car from sam fish son of mark fish (mark fish motorsport ex renault 5 gt turbo cup race driver) and i have been using it for track days. The car is still in the cup regulation setup apart from a few modifications which i have all of the receipts for the spec is as follows:
brand new wishbones with powerflex polybushes.
Inner and Outer powerflex anti roll bar bushes.
uprated headgasket with high tensile head bolts.
uprated manifold gasket.
285 catcam race camshaft.
uprated valve springs.
brand new timing chain and tensioner.
Ebc rear brake pads with new fitting kit.
Carbon Lorraine RC5+ front race brake pads with braided hoses all round.
Brembo max grooved and vented discs.
Mocal oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate.
Uprated 60mm aluminium race radiator.
TRS tow straps rear and front.
New manifold studs and bottom end gasket set.

The car is still in german cup regulation spec :
Devil side exit exhaust (fully heat wrapped).
Devil strut brace.
De Carbon cup car race suspension.
Safety Devices Roll cage.
Plumbed in fire extuinguisher.
Cup steel wheels.
Baffled sump.
Original cup car bucket seat and harnesses (rare).
Coupe badge (Rare as most of them were smashed off during races.
The car has covered 54,000 km (around 30,000 miles) it is left hand drive so has better weight distribution on track. As it is an ex race car it does have a few battle scars ( it is rumoured that there are only around five of these european cup cars left in this spec as they were all smashed to pieces during the series). I have probably missed out a few things but any questions pm me or my number is 07788 610 417. I have many spare cup parts which are very hard to get hold of these will be offered to the buyer first at an extra cost. If the asking price is recieved i will include a brand new AFR meter. Im after £4500

Just want to clear a few things up for the two texts ive had the phase 1 grill is mint and has all fixings in place and has no damage and is mint condition,as the pictures show yes it has a devil strut brace,and also i have 5xcup steels all refurbed up and painted silver with newish slicks fitted and yes i have a spare Baffled sump And yes i know you cannot get these anywhere thats why i did my legwork and found them im not splitting/breaking the car to make your car look good if want a 5 to look like a cup car buy a cup car?:cool:

If the car goes for £4500 i will now throw in £1200 worth of cup spares that i bought from mark fish as i will no longer need them.

Im not getting rid so to speak,another car within the club has become availiable and to make way for this i have to make room thats it i did my bit rescuing it and restoring it and getting back on track i wouldn,t sell if i had the room bottom line.

No worries, I really should get my arse into gear and get the skyline sold but I know if I've got £££ in my hand I'll blow it on something stupid and regret it next time a cup car comes up for sale.

No problems with a car changing hands a few times.
I think that is a good price. We sold the red one for a chunk less than £4k, years ago, and that was essentially a BRAND NEW just-run-in Cup car..... although prices must has risen no doubt.

I always thought it would go into Europe.

You had LOADS of spares with it. Could have been worth hanging onto some of them for a few years....?
