It's scarey to realize that we are at August bank holiday and what we laughingly call summer is coming to a close!

The only good news is that we’ve got to run out of rain some time soon and we’ve started looking forward to another great day out at Oulton Park.

Trackaction-Online will be back there on Friday Nov 2nd running an open pitlane trackday on the International Circuit and as ever we will be keeping the numbers sensible so you'll get plenty of tracktime. There will be free instruction available with our handpicked ARDS instructors and Xtreme photography will be there taking photos so you can see how good your car looks on track.

We’ve frozen the cost from our spring event so it’s just £130 but as a thanks to the clubs that help us to run these days we are once again repeating our popular free places offer that we introduced last year.

For every five places we sell on here we will give a full refund to one driver!
(The winner of the free place is traditionally expected to buy brekkie forthe other drivers in the group)

When you book a place there's a comments box at the end of the booking form, just put RTOC in the box and a week before the event we will count up the number of entries and for every five that have booked one name will be drawn out of a hat and the lucky winner will be announced on this thread so you can all give them evil glances on the day. If we can get ten together its two free spaces and so on.

Bookings can be made at OUR SHOP (http://www.trackaction-online.co.uk/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_free_shipping_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=14), you don't need any discount code to book but don't forget to fill in the comments box with RTOC to get entered into the draw.

This is a regular event for some of the RTOC crowd so I'm looking forward to seeing you out there!

It really is an amazing circuit :agree::agree: definetly worth every penny. If you've never done a trackday before its the safest place to drive your car quickly, so much safer than on the road. C'mon RTOCrs :cooter:

There's usually a few of our regulars filming so there will be some stuff posed up afterwards, mostly our forum.

Bear in mind if you are sorting a camera that it needs to be solid mounted, no gaffer tape, suction or hand held, especially for the drivers :crap:

Matt, varies on the test day TBH, it's open pit unlike most test days and we generally get little or no queuing unless there's a load of red flags so track access should be good.

just back from scoffs had the car checked on new sebring exhaust gone a bit rich in places but yet again sir chris sorted out and noticed my rev counter was 1000 low at 7 grand so wasnt getting all power so shift light now set at 8300 givin 7300 and power :laugh: bring on oulton

The morning sessions were extremely difficult due to the greasy surface which caused one or two 'moments' shall we say :D during the afternoon things dried out and gave the track a load more grip.

Great turn out for the RTOC and nice to catch up with the crew as always.

:D Massive thanks again to Steve and the Trackaction team, had a fantastic day.
As has allready been mentioned the first session was rediculously slippery and i managed to outbrake myself after thinking id done island bend pretty well found that i couldnt quite stop for shell oils corner, i made it half way round and slid off the top and nudged the tyre wall. I snook back on track and sheepishly hid in the carpark trying to rip the broken bits of glass out of the headlight, when Steve found me and pointed out that he'd only told us two minutes ago that it was very slippy lol.... Sorry again Steve, atleast there was no need for another red flag. The medics still insisted on giving me a full examination :wasntme:
So i pulled my headlight out and pretty much didnt get off track the whole afternoon. :agree:
Everytime i started my cool down lap i'd see a nice car whizz past and think to myself.... just a few more laps then lol
Epic day and great to catch up with you all again :agree:
