The photographer is on holiday this week but all the money is sorted now so they should be shipped out to everyone next week.

I gave you all a 2 week grace to pay, then people were still whinging about paying 17.50 so I extended the payment date.
Payments finally received & then photographer went on holiday
Photographer back from holiday now, money sent to him, he's now making the CDs up.
When CD's ready they will be posted to me & i will then split up & send to all.
This was done this way to save you all money....... remember point 1 where people were worried about paying 17.50 and now you're b1tching the CDs are not on your doorstep soon enough!?
The club is not going to rip you off FFS

Quite surprised to read this from a CM, clearly there is a lot of crap doing the rounds but in purely transaction terms information is king and if people are "moaning" then it's because they are unsure what is going on and then to threaten no events next year just smacks of toys, thrown and pram. TBH you have organised one big event, blyton, pod seems to be failing, you volunteered as cm, events organiser, chef, blah blah blah what about all the other events that occur that the club has no presence at? It's clearly a fairly thankless task did you think otherwise?

When I wrote my original post I guessed I would open myself to some of the comments above. I am really proud of my car and I like showing her off (hope that doesn't sound too prideful ) but a change in circumstances has meant having her on the road this year was an expense too far. I have considered taking a more active part but putting myself "out there" does not come as naturally as to some others and again not getting to meets makes me pretty useless.
But anyway this is not about me, my point was that CM's seem to be getting pissed off with the membership and stepping down en mass rather than trying to find answers to the problem. Though it does seem to be the same members who do do most of the moaning I suspect we all know that things are changing (just in my short time as a member) and that is making peeps "uneasy"
It seems that more of the same is getting less of an option and as appointed representatives and thus leaders of the club it is up to the reps and cm's to try to find a way to evolve the club rather than throwing our ungratefulness back in our faces.

Guys, in no way pointing fingers but.....
If it wasnt for the work of CM's such as Steve, we wouldnt have a RTOC. Its that simple.
I was supprised at some of the neg comments regarding the Blyton festival as I for one had a great day even though my car only did 7 laps. If I was an organiser I would of been massively offended.
I for one have organised small events (not on this RTOC scale) and I know how much time and enegry it takes and frustration it causes. The web site alone must take up loads of time!!!
I completely understand where the CM's are comming from and even with a massive passion for the Renault turbo's a person can only take so much.
Sad times, lets hope we don't loose the club.

Imagine the money these companys would save by doing things properly!!! I can't count the times I've had to travel 20+ miles to collect from a depot for something ive paid delivery for!!!

UPS have graced me with a 4th Delivery this Friday so I'll have them for Sunday, and yes i'm coming to the RR Day! ;)
In that case I'll pick mine up on Sunday Steve if that's ok. It might be worth just taking the whole lot up?
