Selling the 5

Im looking at selling my 5 will be avaiable in october just wondering about price.
Will have 11 months MOT and taxed intill end of june 2013. Milage just under 82k is a cat D for a brocken front bumper and dented wing have pictures. Passed every MOT ive had first time.

Spec

White Ph2 GTT H reg 1990
Lowered 40mm on springs at the front not sure how much on the back, Pro race 1.2 alloys in black, drilled front discs, carbon fibre bonnet, HID headlights, front mount intercooler, after market air filter, AEM AFR with in car gauge, boost gauge, voltage gauge, white and blue leather seats and door cards.

T2/T25 turbo .48 cold .47 hot 360 bearing (Ktec) with -34 garrett actuator, Ktec bored out exhaust elbow, 2.5" stainless steel exhaust system from the turbo back with 3" outwards rolled tip, magnecor 8mm HT leads with 90 degrees dizzy
front chrome strut brace.

Power on the rolling road was 162Bhp 175ftlb @18psi

Solid car underneth has a few minor rust spots coming eg on the boot, passenger wing and drivers door shut. Runs great have lots of spares to come with it eg rear calipers, standard interior, tungy bonnet, renault oil filter+ lots more

Cheers mate selling for something bigger with more power always wanted a 5 ive had one now another ticked off on my list. Will be sad to see it go but its time to move on.

I know wot u mean mate I went from skylines and a Scooby to the 5 cos I got sick of the big bills that come with them but ya can't beat big power. Wot u looking for then, jap or summat else

Shame your selling, you will miss the 5. Jap cars certainly have a good reputation for power and reliability. I myself can't make the transition of selling mine so a bought an old EVO 2 for silly money and those fast just doesn't put a smile on yer face like a 5.

Sad but good news bud.. I hope I can still call You from time to time bud. My cousin dose drifting could find out were he gos? Might need your expertise when rebuilding my 5 over the winter.. You could always come to blyton next year and I will chase you round :)

wilwood big brake conversion, braided brake lines, coilovers and rose joints setup by a place in birmingham, front mount intercooler, uprated clutch from japan, 3" exhaust system, aftermarket filter, uprated boost controller and uprated fuel pump cant remember everthing running around 280bhp :)

One of my best mates has a black one of these too running 340ish bhp, Quick car and it looks mean at the front, however the rear looks awfull in my opinion :(

He's always trying to get me to buy one! No thanks... even though they are pretty awsome to drive :agree:

I'll stick to my Renaults, but If I was going to get a car 2.0 turbo or up it'd be my old favourite the Escort Cosworth :D. Obvioulsy if I had a spare 12k (which I don't have :laugh:)

you can fairly easily get good power out of these.
my mate had one running 450 at the wheels.- the only problem was that he kept destroying the gearboxes on the 0-60 runs....
he took me out in it - one of those cars that you cant lean forward when accelerating and gave me back ache, just being in the drivers seat!
unfortunately a spotty 17yo decided to run into the back of it and wrote it off.... :(

Is it a Stage 1a at that power?

As for the 5 - I need an interior for mine as my seats are absolutely shot to bits - fancy donating them to a good cause? :cooter:

Really not sure mate will find out and interior depends if the new owner wants it. Need to sell it first to make room for the new beast end of September.
