Hi everyone,was thinking about getting a second generation ktec tubular exhaust manifold and wondered if heat wrapping was a must,if so don't think I will bother.thanks

get a raceland rather than a k-tec... same product big price difference! check the group buys for the raceland ones :agree:

ill be selling my raceland one once my car is up and running again, as i miss the burble of the standard manifold.

Just read a few old posts and it does seem wrapping a stainless manifold is a no no.could have done that to start with.lol
I am not sure Raceland are still making them. There doesn't seem to be many new one's about any more except for those at inflated prices. In fact I cant see them on KTR's or CGB's websites either. Could well be wrong though.

ceramic coating would give you similar heat reduction that you get with wrapping, prices have come down a lot over the last couple of years as well
