idle problem

Hey got a wierd one, took the car out and it was running mint, then i came to a stop n she cut out and wouldnt start, cleaned enrichment chamber and idle valve and all was good apart from it seemed a little juddery when driving, then it cut out again when i stopped, cleaned idle vslve again and dropped all fuel from carb and its still doing it. any ideas?

give the adjusting-idle needle a clean, take it all out clean it and spray some inside too.

Adjusting idle needle? Do you mean the mixture screw?

check you choke is not on,check it returns fully

Yep choke operates fine. i can get it to idle now but only at 1500 rpm, then giv it a rev, and it dies as soon as u let off
