View Full Version : Fitting AFR gauge
Im going to fit my new AFR gauge tomorrow. Where's the best place to feed the wires through in to the car from under the bonnet?

There are quite a few holes in the bulkhead that you can run the wires through, try and stay away from the coil though as you may encounter some interference.
So I've just fitted my AFR gauge. What readings should I be getting? Also does it stay on all the time or have I wired it wrong?
Cheers

Like most electrics in your car mate, it should be on a switched live. So when you take the keys out of the ignition it turns off. Is yours staying on even with keys out?
If so you need a switched live- I put mine onto the switched live feeding the cigarette lighter. (yellow wire I think)
As for afrs on idle, I think about 14 to 14.5 is correct.
Have a hunt on the boards, there is a bit on there. :)
Cheers mate sorted now.
The gauge is showing 12.8 on idle. Is this ok? Or is this a bit rich?
