Yet again the sun has bleached my red paint again.. I use my 5 as a daily drive and this is now the second time the rain has come and then the sun and when Iv come out from work it's bleached white marks into my paint... There must be a way of proventing this.. I only TCUT the car a couple of weeks ago then auto glymed it back up twice after that.. Any ideas? I will have no paint left if I keep TCUTing it.. Cheers

Try a harder wearing wax mate, I use Harley's autowax on mine, I only need to wax it 5 or 6 times a year, it cleans up really easy once you've got a good coating on there

When you say you autoglymed it, what? And please bin the t'cut that will kill the finish of your paintwork.

Bin the t cut its terrible stuff there is much better compounds on the market. I take it you have only used the super resin or ultra deep shine these are both only polishes and dont last long at all on there own. If you like the auto glym brand then there hd wax is very good and very durable. Another good one is dodo juice supernaturnal hybrid whixh as the title suggests is a mix of a wax and a sealant. If u want any tips etc give me a shout im pretty much into the whole detailing scene.

Iv been using autoglym as that's what my mrs bought me for xmas.. How else other than TCUT would I get rid of the white marks? Mur? I'm not a polish kind of guy and have always had silver cars and never had this prob with red paint before

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Best thing to do is go over it with a machine polisher and use g3 compound then just keep on top of it with wax's like poorboys or dodo juice,

In an honest opinion mate with red you can do what ever you want to it and it may last 2-4 weeks but if you want it looking smart everytime unfortunately it needs painting

rubbish boy /dodo juice awsum stuff! some stuff is expensive but well worth it. iv read what people have writen on the thread and i think g3 is great for cutting then a good wash then a polish. then buy the best wax you can get hold of! and when your looking into shampoo make sure its not abrasive and is wax friendly as most shampoos will take wax off.

check out this website. i recomend them:agree:

I have never personally rated any of the frecla products, 3m fast cut is a better product and easy to use.
