View Full Version : Hot air feed
Have been looking for an OE hot air feed for the r5.
Anyway came across this stuff, which looks like a modern substitute

Does anyone know if this would be any good?
Cheers

Nope no good:disagree:
That stuff is more 'plastic' and would just melt with the heat from the turbo!- it's used for cabling purposes in control panels etc......
What you need is more like the heat wrap material...........

Ok, well do u know of anywhere where u can get exhaust heat wrap in a hose format? Surely there must be a modern substitute

Down the scrapyard, mk3 astra hot air feed fits spot on and tidy.
Google brought up this - unsure if itll do the job but sort of looks right

Difficult to say 100% - looks kinda right! but length, width etc etc.........
I'd go down the astra MK3 route as above, and if you really want mint - then see if there available new from vauxhall?
