renault changed fuel filters?

Last did my fuel filter a couple of years ago and renault sent me one like this

just got some service bits through from my renault guy and its like this

Bob lists them both, guessing the plastic is the new 1? before i go fitting it

The small plastic one is PH1 and the large metal canister type is PH2 I beleive :)

The clear ph1 filters are crap. Ive had them block up in a matter of mins with afew bits of crap floating about in my tank

the plastic one i have here isnt small, its similar size to the metal one?

I'm sure I remember mike telling me that they no longer do metal ones an are now plastic. They should be the same size just different materials.

Correct and don't pay over the odds. I can do much better prices on them.
