So Nitro Nick has asked me to put a post up to advertise that he is selling Bonnie.
He isn't a member here at the moment hence the post- the car is a serious piece of kit and should be well known on here. His email is acez1@me.com and mobile is 07900893554

This car was ace back in the day but then only members from back in the day will have any idea about it. And who knows what condition it's in or what spec it has now.

What a shame Nick can't be bothered to supply more than just his email and phone number to the paying RTOC member who's doing him this favour.

What interest from here does he think he's going to get from current club members under these circumstances?

now there's a car from the past!!!!!!

:agree: But gone are the days of selling a car based on its name & history, of which neither will mean jack to the 'newbies'.

Some current pictures & a reminder of the spec would be a good start...

Is this the same car that's in the club quater mile chart that did 118mph terminal speed at Santa pod?

Yeah, it was a great result in the day. He was a customer of Glen T, the doctor. I think the core engine was the motor that Glen had in his R11 when he did his 12.4 12 years ago, or more, I forget. Back when the tuners were running 12.6 in lighter R5's, glen was blowing them away with his old R11.

Aye it was one of the first running good power on EFI, plenty of gas too if memory serves... Glen used to say it would run better times but it was held back by the driver.

:agree: bit like the day Glen dragged him all the way to my RR day to find that Nick had brought the EMPTY bottle of NOS up!!!

Glen was NOT impressed!!!!!!!

I've saw the car 2 weeks ago; its off the road, will need mot, tax and a bit of love to get it back to its best. He has spent allot of time and effort on the car and keen to see it go to a good home.

The block has had a lot of work to it. It's a 1.7 but still using the C1J block from what I've been told. This was a few years ago mind, when the car was supposed to be making a come back... I guess he lost interest.
