I have reluctantly decided to sell my 1991 H reg Renault 5 GT Turbo. I have owned it for a long time but the time has come to move on.
This is possibly one of the best condition 5s you will see and has a genuine 76000 miles. All receipt from pdi sheet upto current day are all present, as well as virtually full service history.
I am the 4th owner but 2 were husband and wife who transferred ownership. 2 years ago I decided to tidy it up and drop led the doors, removed the aerial and fitted a single wiper conversion,Then resprayed in Audi nimbus grey.
The underside of this car is immaculate! All old sealer and underseal was removed and fully redone and waxoiled. Tarmac front bumper was also modified to fit properly with the front mount and a smoothed rear as a side exit was fitted.
The engine is a standard unit running a t28, forge fmic, full silicon hose kit and a tts twin choke carb. Currently running 15psi but capable of more.
Interior is standard seats with ktec rear cage and boot brace.
The wheels are tsw hockenheims.
Front brakes are Clio 16v items with new rear callipers and drilled discs.
It has just passed mot and has 5 months tax.
Very sad sale but needs must im afraid. the asking price reflects the condition and history present. Only negatives are wheels could do with a refurb and door cards are plastic campus types. Viewing essential to appreciate condition.
