wiring problem

i have renault 5 with b18ft conversion, seem to have problems with wiring when i turn the key to turn engine off it stays runnin, the fan isnt workin when u touch the wires together u here a relay clickin but fan not comin on jus wonderin if there is any decent auto electricians on here who could sort it for me in north west cheers

May not be the same but touching the flat sides of my connectors together i only heard the clicking but touching the ends of the connector together made the fan spin. I expect giving the connectors a quick rub would make the body work too but conductivity of outside flat area seemed poor.
