find your local GSF mate and you want the 1.9mm blue rimmed one not the red 1.6 standard one..

I can sort out normal ones for you easily, but can also get the Corteco head gasket from one of our suppliers, wasn't cheap though as it was something like £10 carriage additional because they dont really deal with that supplier.

As Mart implies nothing wrong with std gasket as long as fueling and cooling is setup correctly but then the same applies to both h.g types crap setup and H/G at least will will go whatever the case

Fitting the thicker gasket will naturally lower the c/r too(*), which, on an already low ish c/r engine, isn't a good thing.

* Unless you've skimmed the head to compensate for that of course.

The question here is can you actually buy standard gaskets anymore? Id rather fit a mellior or payen than some of the cheap crap out there.

I got an ultraparts head gasket on its own sitting here in my works draw, also some valve stem seals, should really empty my work draws every now and then :crap:

thanks for the replys, ive sorted it now, went blue as the head had to be skimmed a fare bit as it was detted to pieces , not on my car thow :laugh:
