Oil filter

Hi,

I'm going to replace the oil filter on the C1J engine i'm about to fit. I've got a spare one from my C16v, they're slightly taller than the 5 item. Are they ok to use?

Only use the proper filter, either original renault or fram ph4546. Bigger filters make the oil pressure drop by as much as 10psi

Original renault filter dark blue made by purflux, can get it from GSF exactly the same size everything apart from it doesnt come in a renault box and costs you about a fiver ;)

The last one i got from gsf was a mecaparts filter?

Some don't have the correct pressure plate in them.
