The Nords is safe.

It's a real shame but at least the Ring is still open, Adam wants to go at some point as he's never been.

i thought as it looks onto the GP track it would be affected, i assumed it was part of that

The Nordschleife will not be affected. Yes, things may change in how it's run, perhaps even the cost per lap(s), but it'll remain in some way shape or form for us to enjoy next year & beyond.

The bankruptcy issue is with regards to the GP side of things, the RingWerks setup (roller coaster, shops within), the Lindner hotel, Casino, etc, as I mentioned above.

No-one yet knows what the future holds, but it's possible & probable that the F1 circus will now stay at Hockenheim for the foreseeable, instead of alternating between the 2 venues each year.

It's hardly a surprise this has happened. Perhaps now they'll invest in & secure the Nords future, given that was & is the bread-winner of the area, instead of pumping millions into the GP side of things (eg, 'NeuroDisney'), which failed to materialise, and is now in the state it is.

I'm hoping the Devil's Diner does one, they bring back the old cafe menu, then I can enjoy those bad ass Hawaiian toasts again :D
