Is the actuator arm on the wastegate? Any boost hoses off?

Get some pictures of your setup and we might be able to see if there is anything wrong

Has the actuator got any preload on it? Does it need to be pulled to fit on the wastegate??

If thats ok you either have a massive boost leak or the turbo is kaputt.

Can't really tell from those pics but it looks like your actuator is connected to your aei

Wait a sec, is that a hole in the side of your actuator ?

Also check your getting full throttle.

You have ph1 / ph1.5 set up so check the linkages are right.

looks to me like the arm off the actuator is holding the wastegate open...

Take off the "c" clip at the end of the arm (small flat screwdriver will do), lift up the collar (at the end of the arm that sits on the wastegate) and see if the watsegate closes anymore (moves closes to the exhaust wheel).

I think I read this on a post above, assuming the arm is keeping the wastegate open, this is where your boost leak is.

Check the play in the actuator arm also, this will tell you if the spring is fooked in the actuator.

Can you check and let us know?

Cheers lads thanks for your help I checked the actuator etc and all was fine. So to the the air filter off turbo and moves spun manually to find it would not spin 360 ? After a couple of goes it cleared and was free ? I'm not sure what it was but on test ran 20 psi with no probs ? Could it just be a bit of grit or something or a piece of turbo !!!!!! Or am I just extremely lucky ? !!!!! Ps romil how you gettin on with all the bits you had off me ?

Hmmm, something is not right dude! My only fear is that it'll happen again and cause some serious damage. It would be best if we can diagnose what the problem/issue is, fix it (if not already fixed), and post the findings ;)

I've have heard of fillings and grit in the oil but this DOES fook up the turbo! people usually find the crap in their oil after the turbo has been mashed up... Saying that, you might just be VERY lucky if your blower is in tact! Check it properly to be sure dude

As for the bits, i've bought so much for the car recently, I dont recognise her anymore :)

ai be careful, don't want the turbo spitting its dummy out into the cold side and ripping through your intercooler/engine :agree:
