Anyone know where I can get a pair of outer sills for an R9 ?

Lol whens MOT ? Can you patch them up? maybe cut sections of similar sills, believe ones for Datsun could be made to fit for 11's so possibility :confused:

September , can't weld so it'll be Mal that does the work, just looking to see if I can get some ready to make life easier

Ahh ditto mate, well theres fair few panel companies around, would sections of sill from a 5 or 19 be any good? depends if replace areas gone or the whole outter sills are gone - however believe 5 sills are starting to get bit thin on the ground :(

I couldnt get 9 or 11 sills ten years ago so you will probably have to repair or use sills for another car.

Super R5 sills fit if your only using sections. The 9 / 11 has a funny swage toward the back so you cant use an entire R5 sill unless you do some nifty cutting and re-aligning. They're also shorter of course so you have to hope that the front corner of the existing sill is good, or use 2x R5 sills per side. We went through all this with Haz's R11 years ago and there was no sills to be had anywhere back then.

It's only the first foot or so of the front of both sills that are gone, same as a 5, the crap gets caught behind the wing and rots out the bottom of the wing and sill

My 9 was rotten on the front corner of the sills too. found it when i took the wings off :crap: so i got a a guy in leicester who is a "god" in the welding world to sort it. Its Mint now :D He said these is a wiring loom (N/S) that run either in the sill or next to it?? can't quite remember but be warned before you get grinder happy....
