Sounds like you might have the actuator plumbed in wrong or the pipe to it may be split, defo not a boost leak if you have 10psi more than usual

As above, you ain't leaking boost. Somehow your actuator pipework is leaking and or is setup wrong. This has the same effect as fitting a bleed valve. Bleed more air off to raise the boost. I would start again using the cup mod, try and use only 1 piece of hose and go from there.

I can only assume you have a 2 port actuator and you have plummed the wrong port. Can you check if you have 2 ports and if you do, which one has the pipe coming off it? (port 2 is closest to the wastegate)

It is port 1 you should have the pipe coming off to the carb (or boost controller).

What romil said!

Definitely not a boost leak if your now getting 20psi.

First port of actuator should have pipe on other port doesnt need anything on it :)

Good luck.

Post some pics if you have no luck

Is the front port of the actuator the one nearest the front of the car?

Yes, unless you got your turbo on the wrong way!

The back port is the one closest to the wategate (thats the right answer)

This thread alone is worth the joining fee for ya! £25 And it's sorted simply, if you had given it the beans for to long it could have cost you an awful lot more!!
