is this normal when stainles steel tubular manifold starts to glow after a normal cruise drive 2000-3000rpm? i have also it wrapped, in the night i see as it glows after a light cruise. the glowing do not come till the turbo flange. any comments or experience with it?

Not normal, it means you are either very lean, have not enough ignition timing or a combination of both.
