Bit of background......
I've owned this car since feb 2008. I spent almost 3 years completely stripping back to shell and rebuilding it from the ground up.
See my partly completed progress blog
I finished it september 2010 and did a couple of track days where it peformed exceptionally well.
So well in fact i decided to put it through its mot in november that year, used it as a road car for just over a year (commuting has never been so much fun) then october last year we had a baby. Since then its been reserved for trackdays.
I had to sell my transporter trailer to make space for another car so now have no transport for trackdays, therfore sadly its time to part with it.

I will be breaking the car soon unfortunately as i feel it would be the easiest to sell that way. Before i do break it i thought i'd test the water and see if i had any interest as a whole car. Obviously i'd prefer to sell it whole as its been a real labour of love building this car and it would be a shame to dismantle it.

The shell itself is not the best as i did have to repair some rust patches when rebuilding it. Its probably no worse than most saxos of its age to be fair but i want to be honest.

The cars spec is as follows....

overall the car is in very good condition as pretty much all its servicable parts have been replaced. There are some marks on the body and usual car park dents. Obviously this car is meant for the track so its not a show car by any means. It has no cat so would need this for a future mot.

As mentioned i will be breaking this car at some point over the coming weeks. if anyone would like to make any offers on parts or want any info/pictures etc just send me an email to..........leightracksaxo@hotmail.co.uk

£1500 for the car as it stands or make me offers on its parts.

Thanks for looking guys.

Leigh.

You should be able to sell that, just sold mine 97 VTR for £1100 simular spec - get it on ebay classifieds for £1495 - I wouldn't mention the patches if I were you, just take photos of the bad bits (not too close) and include them on the listing then the buyer can make up their own mind - also I wouldn't mention breaking the car in your first advert as that will just make people think it's knackered as soon as they see the advert.

Just a bit of advice.. I can delete this post if you find this unhelpful

Thanks for your advice, much apreciated.
I think its worth that even with the patches and id rather be honest (i know honesty gets you nowhere but nevermind)
I dont mind breaking it as i'll probibly get more that way but just seems a shame.
I have only advertised on forums so far so my next step will be ebay.
