Sorry to hijack your thread Biggs, but I've just realised that the reg of your car is only a few digits off the Reg the DVLA have got for T-CUP (G818 ALK)
Do you have any paperwork that confirms who the supplying dealer was??
Biggs, if you want sell those TSW Hock' alloys separately, let me know.
Likewise if that's a GT Tuning double cap' intercooler that you're referring to.

As far as I'm aware, all coupes were sold through Renault London.

Thanks mate. Appreciated :agree:
If it's a no go on the wheels, I'll defo take the GT Tuning intercooler (you could always stick an o.e jobbie in, in it's place ;)).
Just out of interest Mart, I have a set of mk1 TSW Hocks. Worn tyres. How much will you pay? :D And I'm not familiar with the zoo wallet terminology. :)
Nice car, looks in good condition in photos. Its just what I have been looking for! What a shame your not down this way!! Don't suppose you fancy a weekend in Newquay and delivering it!!! ha ha :)

Are they the ones where the spokes taper in towards the rim, or the type like on Biggs' car?

Get your lazy ass up here and have a look mate. Given the distance you will be travelling I could possibly lower the price for you.

Ha ha , mmmmmmmm! If you still got it in a week I might be able to sort out traveling up. If you lowered the price that would make the journey a bit easier.
If I'm honest I don't plan to have it that long. Like I said in the add the price is negotiable
Ok people, price dropped £1200 no offers please. That includes any parts i have lying around in the garage.
Really need this gone asap.
Great little car starts on the button after sitting in the garage for the last 2 weeks.
You'd get your money back even if you stripped it
You'll make some extra moolah if you sell me those wheels & GTT intercooler, you geeza ;)

Are they the ones where the spokes taper in towards the rim, or the type like on Biggs' car?Yes, very similar, they meet a little earlier and cross over but the hub side after the cross over is solid metal. Still look good. When they were on my Tungy 5 passers by kept calling at the door to buy the car. Had a photo somewhere....

give him a grand ric , mart the wheels etc and me the samco`s...deal done...:agree:, £1200.00,:D
Golly for £1200 I was briefly tempted to come over now with cash.
But then I remembered I was just bidding on eBay on a large telly as I've gone without one for 18 months. Don't really need one just yet, but it was a bargain. I left it though, partly distracted by the breaking news of the new price of your car.
But I should buy some new doors for the bathroom cabinet as I just broke the others in a fit a bad temper.
And then there's some new flooring as the 1961 lino has gone sticky all the way through.
And I think I might replace the bath with a same size shower tray and glass surround.
Then I want four windows for the back of the house and I want to get some exterior cladding on the upper half that together might shave maybe £200 off the £1000 winter gas bill and make the upstairs feel a lot more comfortable.
Then I was to get a ventilation with mechanical heat recovery device to make it a LOT fresher in the house instead of stuffy. A pal just had one and it works well.
So that lot will cost quite a bit so I can't really afford to keep a 5 at the moment.

If your serious then lets do this

LOL, you're quick Bradley :)
I used to enjoy looking at your ever changing entertaining profile on the old site.
For £1200 I think I'd rather have had the seam welded, restored light blue one with the fuel injected 2 litre Megane engine from the other week because that's many of the things I thought the 5GTT needed doing to it to get it 'up to date'. That's gone though.
I was still mulling your car over over but I think I've got over it now as I have to be sensible not emotional and prioritise.
