Just been to Renault for a fog light relay.. £18.50 they want :eek: I take it a normal 4 plug relay will do?

Yeah a normal 4 pin will do, motorspares will do them for a 5iver

that cos the renault ones will seal against the rubber on the plug, a normal one wont, after you have replaced it 4 times due to water ingress it'll be the same as an OE one :laugh:

Well Im going to tape it up nicely so no water can get in. Next question is which one is for the fogs I have two plugs with no relay in them I'm guessing on is for the anti perc (that I don't have) and the other the fogs. Tried both and nothing the light is on in the dash but no fog lights can I just test each fog with two wires and a battery? I don't have an amp meter..

Make sure you get the correct rating for the job it will be doing.

You mean 12v mike? Yep I got that. Hey you must have loads tell you what when you do the bumperstrip I will have a couple off you :-) I also need the whole tdc wire complete :-) i will pm you

Hi woody, you need another pair of hands to switch on/off switch in the car and check if relay is clicking on/off. If you don't then give me a shout.

Yes 12v but it is the amps it will be switching, ie rad fan will pull more power than lights. Motor factors have several to choose from.
