View Full Version : Been offered.......
...an A reg white gordini turbo 55k on the clock. However, Ive offered £3000 for it believing that's a fair price for what it's worth. He wants £3500 though. Needs a bit of work and tlc too.
What would you say it's worth?

Depends on what you mean by a fair amont of work and tlc, Theses one very tidy example in retro cars this month, think he wants £4500 for it.
If it needs body work, and a respray i'd say £3000 is a fair offer.

I couldnt sell my gordini for £2k 2 years ago... Strange cars, loved the look of it, but wernt overly keen on the drive... But very retro.

its really depends on how 'mint' it is. i'd have said.....
£1500 needs work ( usually new paint)
£2500 is in good condition. - unmolested ( i.e no gtt carb conversion)
£3500++ mintety mint, or race spec with provenance? ( salv sacco this n that etc)
btw - the back arches love to rust :)

I'd have said its in the good condition category mate. If I was going to 3500 I'd expect minty mnt like you say :) cheers pal
