View Full Version : White R5 Gtt - Durham - £1800

I'm thinking of selling my white R5 gtt to make way for a new project (not reno related).

To sum the car up briefly its a tidy, solid, reliable car but the paint is poor. It runs so sweet, I've never known a carb'd 5 run so well.

Spec:
Std engine, top end has been re-built.
Rover Tomcat T25 turbo running 1 bar boost.
Samco Hoses.
Alloy carb top.
Std position alloy intercooler (Pace?).
Leather Recaro Interior.
Clio Turbine wheels with very good tyres.
Comes with new front bumper.
A file full of history, if you're into that.
No MOT, but will put one on.
9 previous owners.
Full electric tilt and slide sunroof.

This car could be mega mint with a lick of paint and some love.

No mad rush to sell so no daft offers and I don't want PX thanks (unless its a GTR and cash my way ;) )

Hya mate. This is exactly what i've been looking for for about 2 years! Didnt want to travel to the opposite end of the country to view a tea strainer five. I live in Gilesgate so Durham is bang on my door step! Anychance i could come over to look at it buddy? Sunday afternoon is good for me. Cheers, James.

Also, sorry i've only got 2 posts. Been on renault5gtturbo.com for a few years but finally took the plunge and paid my 25 notes to search on rtoc for a 5 in northeast...... and here it is! lol.

Yo, yeah Sunday should be good. I'm out in Durham on a stag do on Sat so might be a bit rough though :crap:

Really nice car mate can i ask where did you get ur seats done? And i take it there rs turbo seats do you have to swap subframes over?

Stag do eh? I'm getting married in 4 weeks, just had my stag do......need to buy myself a 5 before the missus puts her foot down and that bald spot where the thumb print is gets any bigger! Fair few lads on here in the north east like? Didnt realise there was a big following of the 5 up north like. Saw a red 5 turbo coming down the dragonville slip road into durham last weekend. Nearly wet myself with excitement, you dont see many 5s knockin about up here. Have a good night on the stag do buddy.
