renault 5 bonnets

Hi folks are all Renault 5 three door bonnets the same? Also has anyone fitted a Patton part one before if so how did it line up, I've found one online for £116 is this a good price,

Yes all the bonnets are the same 3 or 5 door ones.. Seems a steep price as you could prob just find a normal 5 in the breakers (most likely will be a gen bonnet to) for about a tenner.

I don't know off any breakers with Renault 5s near me(Edinburgh) I have been trawling eBay but when I take postage and the extra cost of painting a old bonnet the Patton part looks like a good option, that's if it fits correctly

You can get a bonnet from Renault for £100 but it's different as not as strong flimsy apparently :)

I've never tried renault but had a look at gtturbo spares and there looking for about £160 so if the Patton part was ok it's half way to painting it

I have and still am a member of sidc(Subaru impreza drivers club) and in my short time in this club it is like night and day the members here have gave me more help in the 3 months of 5 ownership than my 4 years in Sidc, so thanks again
