:), it is lovely , i nearly bought this off glen once... but for me , when buying a phase one it has to be all about the unpainted kit all round etc , thats what makes um stand out like and look even more retro...;), that said where will you find another with the history , paperwork and condition , good luck glen , i hope it stays in the club bud... im still tempted...:laugh:

Well finally got the 5 home last night and I must say rather happy with the car. I have never had so many people sit alongside me towing a car on the motorway, thumbs up or toots of the horn.
A few elder neighbours in my street have been out looking over it and stating they cant remeber the last time they saw a 5 on the road never mind a phase 1 gtturbo. Plans are now to spend a liitle bit of time and money on it to get it as concourse and original as possible. I know this will not take much as its been well cared for and appreciated over the last 25 years. With full service history to prove.
For now it's going to get a drive around the west coast of Scotland next week for a few days with the wife and then get parked up next to my escort cosworth and raider shell.

Big thanks to Glenn for his time and can only say that his knowledge of 5's is second to none. Will probably seek some input from him in completing my raider build if he is willing!
With a look over his drag car being just as good as becoming the new owner of the phase 1,
The amount of time, money and quality of work that he has put into developing his car is just unbelievable. best of luck with it for the future.
