Camskill I find is always the cheapest though I did find http://www.oponeo.co.uk/ which did seem to beat camskill on price by a few quid but not sure what they are like

I always look for someone selling wheels and just buy a new set of wheels with good tyres, this time around picked up a set of superleggeras with brand new Michelin PE2's on in 195/50 R15 flavour for £400 including a 5th spare wheel as well  sold old rims for £250 with dead tyres :agree:

camskill were £49.95 forgot you mentioned them so its getting better:D. Im only buying 2 tyres as the rears are new so were the fronts but the camber has ruined them, my fault should have sorted it sooner:ashamed:

would a 50 profile be better on track than a 45? could you have 45's at the rear and 50's at the front or would that cause handling issues?

that's a bargain mate! wish they where up for sale here for that kind of prices!

wider tyres don't always give you better grip, is has something to do with weight/square inch.

i think 195 will be wide enough for the light cars we have. 50 profile would give higher top speed if the car's up to it.

the motor's up to it:D i just see all the track tyres r888 a408 etc... only come in 50, so is a 50 profile better that 45 for track use?

I would choose a 50 profile over a 45 any day of the week, loads of bump steer with the 45.

careful with the 50s as you may find they rub

even with the tyres im looking at? im thinking of going for t1r's again or prada spec 2? anyone recommend a good set of tyres? So il either buy a full set in 50 profile or 2 t1r's in 45 to go with the rears i have.

didnt think of that, i think i may have a prob then as the 45's are close in places il have to check.

i had 205 50 15 bridgestone potenzas, absolutely amazing grip, only lasted 6 months tho :( my 195 45 15 toyos dont grip anywhere near as well but bang for buck there great :agree:

Can I put a 205 on a 6.5j rim il have to double check that's the size but they came with 195'5 as it may be better for me to fit a whole set and sell off the decent toyos. As its a road car tho I want good grip but a decent road life. It didn't really get driven much in the wet so wet grip isn't much of an issue. Anyone reconend anything better than t1r's, what about yoko prada spec 2's?
