Right after selling my r6 last year due to silly insurance I have finally been able to source not bad price for a gsxr600 for 535 quid a year. Has anyone had before in the past or have one now either a k1, k2 or k3? I am looking to buy one as we speak but want peoples opinion on them. As soon as I go to the later k4 model upwards it jumps up the insurance. I have around 3k aswell to source one which I think is a reasonable price.

Ive had a k3 1000 and it was the best bike I've owned bar my zx6r.

The whole gsxr family from 2001 onwards are pukka machines.

Come to think of it rich, a very good friend of mine in hockley has a gsxr 600 k2 that he wants to sell but his not advertised yet

It's mint and in dream machine rizla race rep, fully serviced last summer, new Diablo tyres front and rear, new gold chain and sprockets, Leo vinci carbon can with k&n filter and mapped on a pc3

His owned this bike for 4years + iirc and it really is lovely and I'm sure your 3k would snap it up!!!!

i've got a GSXR-600 k1 bud

for a 1st bike its savage, loads of mid range and enough power to lift the front wheel under hard acceleration.

mine has a few bits, yoshi can, stubby levers, double bubble screen and DID chain and supposedly been remapped in its life

my insurance is £251 a year, passed in march, insured it same day, i was 27 at the time with no bike NCB

The k2 in blue and silver look nice, not as common to.
