Is this suitable???

Before I get shot down, I am rubbish with oil etc and what you can and cant use.

I can get hold of the following;

DURON, SAE 15w-40
Premium heavy duty engine oil

Can I use this in my 5 or should I not??

If not ill stick to whats recommended on here.

Well, viscosity is fine, 15w-40 however the 'heavy duty' part usually relates to diesel engines (heavy oil). I have googled it and it appears to offer benefits like 'soot control' so in my book i would leave it for diesel vehicles and stick with the usual like halfrauds semi synthetic 15w-40 or 10w-40 fella ;)

No worries bud, hope she's coming along nicely, 15w-40 is in the purple bottle, thats what I run :)

Cheers. Will be popping in there tomorrow to get some. Then start getting the fluids in my 5 :)

The old 5 is coming along well I think...lol...I may change that opinion once I try to restart it for the first time after the rebuild......
