Removeing gearbox

I have just come to get my engine crane out dropped it and bent the ram:mad: so i am guna try and take gearbox out and leave engine in will it come up threw the top it looks like it would i have no pipes or driveshafts and just gota remove turbo so is it worth a try

Yes, that's how I change them, depending on how strong your back is, you can lift them out quite easily.

I like the mod on Jesus's (rowans cup car).... would make changing the gearbox alot easier...

Yep, that's how I did his, actually he lifted it out .... Hehe! My back is phucked.

A nice chunk of the inner wing was cut out... must have been done to make it quicker to remove the gearbox when racing etc. :agree:

I've done one in the past but I removed turbo and oil pipes as they got in the way but theres no need to remove engine boss
