How do i check it at the pump.. and what should it be on a Phase 2?
Silly i know but think ive found an issue an wanna be sure voltage is good.

So 12v+ at idle? And measured by putting volt metre across terminals on the pump?

Thats right mate, with engine running should see 12v+.
Put earth lead of multimeter to bat neg/earth on chassis and pos lead on the 12v wire to pump

Yeah that should work, sometimes its better to earth to chassis but it'll be ok
