Anyone know where I can get a full set of coolant pipes for an R5 GTT for a reasonable price?

Don't want to pay Samco money, are SFS the next best alternative?

Just want a set of black hoses really as most of mine are split.

Links would be great! :agree:

Are they actually any good or cheap copies like whats sold on eBay?

I've been told they aren't very good

The Chinese option on eBay have had some good feedback (check previous threads on here)... I dont have these myself, just remember someone posting up a message.

Just remember, you get what you pay for! If your keeping your car and want it to look nice, spend the money (I know, hard times and all that). There are also a lot of cars being broken, i'm sure you could get all the pipes required from differant sources but this takes time and effort. Good luck, let uis know what you do or go for...

Chinese specials are tempting.... just want to know whether or not they're actually well made or whether they split or are odd shapes etc.

I have the Chinese specials on mine. Check out my thread in the projects section

They fitted perfectly. Bleed valves were fine when tested. They haven't spilt and look pretty good to me.

Just my opinion...

Thanks for your input Liam, that's promising.

What supplier did you order yours from? Do you have a link?

Get the chinese copys off ebay. Just take the alloy part out of the hose where the bleed nipple screws into, seal and tighten up properly and they will be fine. Ive had my set for years now no probs :)

Ill agree with bill though the hutchinson o.e hoses are very good if there in good nick.

Not sure what you mean by that?

Please post links to where you got your pipes from :)

Bump, still wanting to know which suppliers you've had your pipes from, would rather use a proven supplier!

Happy to pay a bit more for quality hoses not looking for the cheapest available of course but don't want to pay samco prices
