When u say sill you mean exhaust? As it runs down side of car under the sill and its now been painted black and It's getting a full stainless system on next week hopefully

So I am, wasn't on the car when I bought it was that a later addition because mine was one of the earliest and did have g5 stickers on the side when I bought it, also the sills are supposed to be black but body colour looks better your 5 looks nice where u based?

Those side decals really make a difference, very cool :)

Is there also a chrome strip for the front grille area or did that not come on your model? Maybe the sill strips and the grille strip are part of the same kit?? On the white car in Sparkie's link the side strip is black. On the black car the side and front strips are chrome.

Look at the seats in that black R5 Alpine, they look awesome! I love the light brown window tints on the old 5's :agree:

should be black gutter rails, black sill strip, black grill bars, black windscreen surround strips on the gordini turbo.
as mine is technically a le car 2 turbo, mine should be chromed all round instead. - and only 1 bar of the grill strip black ;) (then again i should have colour coded bumpers and above light grills too....i preferred black)

Laureate Turbo (French)= Le Car 2 Turbo (UK)

Le Car was just normal model in the UK, a gimmick basically.
