whats this ?

hi i am probley makeing myself look an idiot, but i cant work out what this is and what it does, it goes in the engine bay and is riveted to the n/s inner wing it has to pipes one with a filter and one with nothing it also has 2 spade terminals,anyone know :ashamed:

Its the horn compressor, one pipe has the filter, the other is attached to the horn itself.

Cheers it has a relay attached to it aswell that also to do with it i suppose cos i think am guna get rid of it cos it looks crap lol

Just bear in mind you need a horn for the mot, unless you have a friendly mot tester;)

Yea i was guna by a little electric horn to replace it then put it somewhere discreet :D

And am i rite in thinking that the relay attached to the horn compressor is just for the horn nothing else

i got an electric one you can have.

i did exactly the same thing as you. mine came with a pair.
