The other one will be my old one, C247 SLX. Currently up for sale as well, i'd have it back if I had room. Only wants £600. I has this alongside my Ph1 9 Turbo but sold it due to lack of use, I wanted it driven not sat doing nothing. When I got it it completed the set of four, Phase 1 and 2 9 and 11 Turbos....not many people can say they have owned that set at any one time :D

Was silver originally, had a resto in white.

Epic stuff. You got it off Paul R then?

I had it before him, and before that it was restored by a chap, he spent £££ and the first time he drove it the fan seized and fried the engine loom. He stuck it in his garage and got his Mrs preggers and it sat there for six years untouched. I found a forum post back in 't early days of the interwebs advertising it for sale....the post was about 8 months old but I replied anyway and forgot about it. 3 or 4 months after that I checked a rarely used email account which was connected back to the message board it was advertised on and there was an email from this chap.....he'd been paying rent on the lockup the whole time and wanted it gone....but to a good home. I reeled off my history/Renault credentials and he gave it me for free!!! The first time it had moved in six years and I stiff bar'd it a hundred miles to Coventry with a Passat

We stayed in touch for a bit, long enough for him to know it was returned to service with tax and test, which was what he wanted....my duty of care complete if you like. I had it for 3 or 4 years before selling it to Paul because I just didnt use it enough....if at all. Again I asked that Paul look after it (which he has) and give me first knock on resale if he ever moved it along (which he did).

So. I digress. It nearly died in that garage, and I saved it, and i'm really pleased it's still going. Please look after it :agree: and if you shift it on, drop me a PM so I can keep track (or buy it lol).

well she may have been restored but looks like someone used dulux on it! lol. the paint is terrible and looks to need a full respray. there is rust everywhere now. so it wasnt restored very well. will take photos and show you. left hand sill is on its way out to. i plan on using this till september then make a choice on what i will do with it. as there is more work than i thought. on the upside it drives spot on. mechanicly its perfect! boosts perfect and doesnt miss a beat. iv just brrought a bms downpipe for it (thanks to jp) as it has a massive old exhaust on the back! looks like a drainpipe lol . iv changed the front shocks to konis 250lb springs etc drives better for it. will get photos up to show you. i like the history behind it tho:agree: its great.
