Hi lads,

Andy, who some of you will know (Aka Blocky amongst other aliases :-) ) has been putting the finishing touches to his Mk1 Clio recently. It has a 3L VW VR6 motor running a GT40 VNT, external wastegate, charge cooler, O2A gearbox and Link G4 management. We were on the dyno till gone 3am on Friday night finding the best way to control the VNT and wastegate combo while getting it mapped up. The result was 430hp and 430lb/ft at 1.3 bar.

The grip in this thing is phenomenal, it'll take it all in 2nd gear. I've never felt forward propultion like it, it's mind bendingly quick :)

Video of one of the late night dyno pulls, having a job keeping it in the dyno.

Andy at the keys for this one but a bit of effort from both sides regards the full throttle map. Great car, it should be at a few shows this year, national day, etc. :)

How do the other sides three exhaust outlets make it around to the turbo?

The exhaust ports are all on the rear of the head Ian, they're a tight V, single cylinder head.
