Private plates...

Hi all, i have a ph1 r5, on a "d" reg,

i also have a private plate "E1 LSG"

am i aloud to put this on the r5? i no you cant make the car look newer then it is with a private plate,

my boss says i wont be aloud as itll make it look newer?

anyone shed some light for me please?

sell the 5? i have only just got it lol, and spent a fair amount of cash lol,

just sell the plate n find a new one :(

You can put an older reg on it but not a younger one.
